Overberg Gold & Tech keeps things simple. Our website uses only the minimum storage needed to run properly:

• Essential storage — our staff admin area uses a secure login token saved in your browser (localStorage) so staff stay signed in. This is required for the admin area to function and is not used for tracking.
• No advertising cookies — we do not use advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
• No analytics cookies — we do not currently use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.

Third-party content

Some pages embed third-party content which may set its own cookies or storage when loaded: our Google Maps location embed (Google), and links out to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Yaga. These services have their own privacy and cookie policies which we recommend reading.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers let you block all cookies, accept only some, or delete them when you close the browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent the staff admin area from working, but the public site will work fine either way.

POPIA

We respect your privacy under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We do not sell or share personal information collected through this website. If you contact us via phone, email or WhatsApp, your details are used only to respond to your enquiry.
